My buddy Cal works down at Builder's Best Do It Center in Cortland, whose management was kind enough to partner with me as a sponsor, so I've been keeping him busy with all these plywood orders. 

Hey Cal, you were right...the 1x3s and 1/2" plywood were plenty strong enough for the bed but I think I'd need at least 50 more of those spring loaded hinges to make it into a catapult like we were talking about.
